YBHG DATUK (DR.) MOHD RADZIF MOHD YUNUS

YBhg. Datuk (Dr.) Mohd Radzif assumed the role of Chairman at UM Holdings Sdn Bhd on 15 July 2022, bringing with him 23 years of distinguished Board experience across various sectors. With a diverse management background spanning Healthcare, Banking, Property Consultancy, Real Estate Development, Construction and Investment. YBhg. Datuk Mohd Radzif's career journey began in academia and as a valuer and property consultant at an esteemed international firm. He then transitioned into leadership roles, including serving as CEO of a local conglomerate engaged in diverse businesses and subsequently leading subsidiary companies of Tabung Haji involved in Real Estate Development.

Notably, YBhg. Datuk Mohd Radzif held the positions of CEO and Group Managing Director at Institut Jantung Negara Sdn. Bhd. (National Heart Institute) and IJN Holdings Sdn. Bhd., respectively, where he spearheaded transformative initiatives until June 30, 2017. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in revitalizing the companies under his leadership, a testament to his strategic vision and execution prowess, which he has shared through various writings, speeches and talks on transformational journeys and initiatives.

Beyond his corporate engagements, YBhg. Datuk Mohd Radzif has held significant roles in various professional associations and advisory committees, including Chairmanship and directorship positions in private, government-owned, foundation and public listed companies such as Duopharma Biotech Berhad, HeiTech Padu Berhad, Amanah Raya Berhad, Yayasan Pembangunan Ekonomi Islam Malaysia, Perbadanan Kampung Baru and AmanahRaya-Kenedix REIT Manager Sdn Bhd. His past directorships include notable organizations like KPJ Healthcare Berhad, Bina Darulaman Berhad and Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions, YBhg. Datuk Mohd Radzif has received prestigious awards, including the Malaysian Business Leadership Award for Healthcare in 2009 and CEO of the Year in 2015 by ADFIAP for his transformative leadership at SME Bank. He was also honored with Honorary membership by ADFIMI in 2018 for his contributions to Islamic Development Finance and conferred the Darjah Kebesaran Panglima Jasa Negara (P.J.N.) by DYMM Yang Di Pertuan Agong in 2008.

YBHG. PROFESSOR DATO' SERI IR. DR. NOOR AZUAN ABU OSMAN

Professor Dato’ Seri Ir. Dr. Noor Azuan Bin Abu Osman has achieved remarkable success in both academia and his professional endeavors. Graduating from the University of Bradford, UK, with a B.Eng. Hons. in Mechanical Engineering, he continued his academic journey with an MSc and Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom.

As a renowned expert in biomechanics, Azuan's research encompasses various domains, focusing on human movement measurements, prosthetics and orthotics design, orthopaedic implants, and the development of instruments for force assessment and joint motion analysis. His significant contributions to prosthetic socket development were honored with the BLESMA award from ISPO UK NMS in 2004.

Throughout his illustrious career, Prof. Azuan has held prestigious positions such as Deputy President of the Society of Medical and Biological Engineering (MSMBE), among others. Notably, he served as Vice Chancellor at Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) and later at Universiti Malaya, showcasing his exceptional leadership in higher education.

Recognized for his outstanding contributions, Prof. Azuan was bestowed with the title of Dato' Seri and awarded the Darjah Gemilah Pangkuan Negeri (D.G.P.N) by the Governor of Penang in 2023. His scholarly achievements are reflected in numerous publications across various platforms, underscoring his expertise in biomechanical engineering.

Prof. Azuan's professional affiliations include being a Chartered Engineer and Fellow with The Institution of Mechanical Engineers, UK; a Chartered Professional Engineer and Fellow with Engineers Australia; and a Chartered Scientist and Professional Member with The Institute of Clinical Research, UK. His career exemplifies unwavering dedication to advancing biomechanical engineering and adept navigation of academic leadership challenges.

KAMARUL ARIFFIN MOHD JAMIL

Kamarul Ariffin Mohd Jamil was appointed to the Board of UM Holdings Sdn Bhd on 03 August 2022.

With over 17 years of extensive experience in the banking industry, Kamarul has held various significant roles, culminating in his tenure as the Group Chief Executive Officer of Affin Bank Berhad. Notably, he also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Affin Islamic Bank Berhad from 2006 to 2015.

Currently, Kamarul holds several key positions, including Independent Non-Executive Board member roles at Maybank Asset Management Sdn Bhd and Maybank Islamic Asset Management Sdn Bhd. Additionally, he serves as Chairman and Independent Non-Executive Board member of Marine & General Berhad, a prominent oil and gas company listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia. Moreover, he holds the position of Chairman at Fullrich Malaysia Sdn Bhd, an E-Wallet company operating under the E-Money license from Bank Negara Malaysia.

Kamarul is a graduate of the University of Cambridge, where he studied Economics. His diverse professional background includes roles in the oil and gas industry, with experience in both downstream business at Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd and upstream business at Trenergy Malaysia Berhad. Furthermore, he spent five years at Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad, the National Asset Management Company, contributing to his well-rounded expertise.

PATRICK MAJATIG

Patrick Majatiq assumed the position of Board Member at UM Holdings Sdn Bhd on 15 May 2023.

His professional journey commenced in the audit industry at Jabatan Audit Negara, where he served as an assistant auditor for a span of 7 years. Transitioning to Jabatan Akauntan Negara in 1999, Patrick held the role of Accountant until 2010, after which he served as Director of Finance at Perbadanan Labuan for four years.

In 2014, Patrick took on the role of Head of Enforcement at Jabatan Akauntan Negara, culminating in his last position as Deputy Director. Additionally, he held significant positions in the public sector, serving as Deputy Chief Accountant at the Ministry of Education from 2019 to 2020, followed by his current role as Chief Accountant at the Ministry of Higher Education.

A certified accountant and member of CPA Australia and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, Patrick graduated from Institut Teknologi MARA ("ITM") with a major in Accountancy.

His contributions have been recognized through various awards, including the Ahli Darjah Kinabalu by Istana Negeri Sabah in 2016, as well as Perkhidmatan Cemerlang accolades from Jabatan Akauntan Negara and Perbadanan Labuan in 2007 and 2011, respectively.
